The travel bug did bite again, so we decided to go on a 12 day trip to Camiguin, an island south of Cebu in the Philippines. Having visited Boracay, Malapascua, Bantayan, Cebu, Cabilao and Bohol already – thinking about the fine ‘Tanduay’ Rum and countless Karaoke bars, makes the mood swinging in holiday tunes already. Thank god for Tiger Airways!
Just 2 years ago a return trip from Manila was about SGD 700 for one person, these days 2 persons can fly return for less than SGD 500. Okay, it’s Clark Base instead of Manilas notorious Ninoy Aquino airport, but that even sounds like a revelation!

Yes, you don’t write much about your Camiguin adventure. But I’ve seen your photos at Picasa web. based from the photos, I think the island didn’t change enough from the last time I was there in 1995. I’d frequented the place during my college days because of distant relatives who are native there.
If I happened to visit again this beautiful island, I’ll write about it and share it to you…
dodong, that would of course be very welcomed!
