I know that all the retirement calculators tell me I have more than enough to become a nomad today, but believe me, it's been the hardest decision of my life. Then again, I was out with my buddy this weekend, and we both signed and said, "Bad sleep, working like a dog, fighting the office politics just so that we can go out salsa dancing on a weekend, and we didn't even get a phone number." There's got to be a better way. I see that this is an older post, but this is exactly what I’m talking about as far as the mental aspect of making the switch.
