A while ago we established a concept, that it doesn’t take you necessarily heaps of money to retire early in your lifetime. If you don’t have high demands, are happy to live a simple but fulfilled life in a low-cost-of-living country, plan ahead and have some savings which will provide you with passive income in the form of interest, rent, dividends it might be even possible that you can retire already in your 30s.
You can read many tips and tricks on this site on how to plan ahead and retire early to enjoy what life really has to offer. So if you seriously plan to retire early, is there a chance that you can totally f*ck it up? But of course!

Most people still believe that they are dependent on what Government pension plans or their previous company will provide for them when they are ready to retire. Or that they have to work until 65, 68 or even until they drop dead to the floor. That debt, cost of living and steady consumerism and expenses will never allow them to live a more relaxed life and enjoy their day - with whatever comes to their minds.
Do you belong to them?

Wanted to share with you quickly some interesting reads I found recently on the web:
The Case For De-Cluttering Your Life Right Now
Over at Brave New Traveler, which always has great, original and inspiring write-ups about travel in the 21st century, Jenn DiPiazza wrote a great article about the ‘hoarding and gatherers instinct’, which is still somehow in most of us. The thing is that we collect more and more ’stuff’ during our life, which makes us more ‘im-mobile’ and fixed to a certain location. You amass a lot of useless things, waste plenty of money and end up needing more and more space for it.

Wanted to share with you quickly some interesting web sites I found recently:
TribeWanted: Vorovoro
What a great idea! People from all over the world “buy” a piece of paradise in form of an island (Vorovoro) in Fiji and build an Eco Community. Literally and Online and Offline/Real Life Experiment with a purpose. With your contribution you have the right to spend some time a year on the island and actively or passively take part in its community. There are 3 levels of membership you can buy: Nomad, Hunter and Warrior, which entitle you to different length of stay and membership. It’s a democratic experiment as well, as the visitors on the island have to perform tasks and activities the online members back at home vote for.

Monday morning, 8am. Diiiiiiinnng! Is that your alarm? Wouldn’t it be nice to not having to go to work today? How about traveling in Guatemala, Mexico or Asia instead? Here is the news: You can! Just follow nomad4ever’s essential tips for self-sustainable permanent travel.
For permanent sustainable travel and living at a young age, you basically have to work on 2 sides of the book:
- Income in hard currency (Dollar, Euro, Swiss Franc, …)
- Expenses in soft currencies (Rupiah, Baht, Peso, …- this almost excludes Europe, the US, Japan or other high cost-of-living countries)

“Is normality getting dressed in the clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic jams in the car that you are still paying for, in order to get to the job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, the car, and especially, the house that you leave empty all day in order to live in it?”

Can you imagine the capitols or countries of Asia as women? No? That is what blogger Indcoup did recently. What a funny idea! But it gets better. Why not start with that and add the vitae of more and other visited places? Here is how it goes - read on:
“I think it would help to imagine Jakarta as some sort of a woman. And in that case I reckon that despite being a bit low in the IQ department, painstakingly slow at doing anything and a compulsive chain smoker to boot - you’d still be drawn to her more positive attributes like her deep cleavage, long jet black hair and happy-go-lucky attitude.
