…that is called ECS G10IL. And what is that? The successor of R2D2?
No, it’s the new Netbook PC of Elitegroup with a strange name - it weighs less than 1 kg and it speaks 3G.
While Asus can lay claims of having invented a complete new line or range of small, budget notebooks - the Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) or Netbooks - the fierce competition is currently heating up more and bringing out new and similar gadgets every week with better value for money or smaller form factors.

Wanted to share with you quickly some interesting web sites I found recently:
“The Secret History of the Credit Card” is an outstanding documentary and interesting piece of investigative journalism. The critically acclaimed and award-winning show is now available online as a 5-part Video Streaming Series. It’s an in-depth look into a secretive yet very successful industry. You can learn how your Credit Score is calculated, what methods Visa, Master, American Express and others use to keep you spending and how they earn big bucks from you paying only the minimum charge or nothing at all.

Sure, sometimes those places feature outdated equipment and the comfort factor isn’t on par with your hotel room - but hey!

Traveling the world, most people take plenty of pictures, need access to their business or private contacts, want to make mid or long-term appointments, have to write letters to Visa or Immigration authorities or simply want to stay in touch with their loved ones.

I’m currently upgrading the site to the latest Wordpress Version (2.3.1). Therefore you might see some funny effects or a non-complete site layout.
Don’t worry though - it’s not your computer, but mine being responsible for that. I hope everything will be back to normal by tomorrow.
Will take a few hours though to check, if everything works like it should.
Some other changes you can expect:
